Ano Gerakari in the heart of Zakynthos Island

The Villa Thea is located on the outskirts of the traditional village of Ano Gerakari at the edge of a small hill in the eastern part of Zakynthos Island.  

 
The church of Ano Gerakari, what is named "Agios Nikólaos" is well known around the islander because of its fantastic 360° panorama. Immediately next to the church the traditional tavern "Fior tou Levante" serves you delicious food cooked with local products in a warm and familiar atmosphere.  You will reach the church and the tavern after an approximately 100 m walk from your holiday home. Ammoudi, the neighboring place with some good taverns, a big supermarket and the sea, you will reach after 3 km at the bottom of the hill.

Because of the central location in the more quieter eastern part of the island most sightseeing points can easily be reached in a few minutes. For example the next bigger holiday resort Alykes, with its ample sandy bay, numerous taverns, bars and shopping possibilites  you reach after 5 km. Tsilivi by the way the biggest tourist hotspot of eastern Zante is just 10 km away, Zakinthos town with its fantastic greek-style night flair, numerous cultural attraction and the ferry harbor you reach after 12 km. The international airport is 14 km away.
